NAMI Mid-Carolina needs volunteers in order to provide programs and to spread the word about NAMI. While our support programs require that facilitators be living with or supporting someone with a diagnosis, many of the volunteer positions are open to anyone.

Anyone can help with:

Staffing tables at health fairs
Writing for the newsletter
Serving on a standing committee
Stuffing folders
Updating our webpage
Writing for our on-line newsletter
Coordinating publicity

Peers and family members are needed as facilitators, co-facilitators, and trainers for our support and education programs. These do require training.
